摘要

Abstract

Few studies of vertical pipe inlet-outlet of pumped storage plant have been reported in the literature.In this work,a series of hydraulic model tests and numerical simulation of flow velocity,head losses and vortex formation under various operation conditions were carried out for the design of a pumped-storage plant.The original design scheme was optimized through modification of the weir and the anti-vortex beam.This work provides an important reference for the study of bidirectional flow.
