摘要

Abstract

To evaluate the dam-induced water temperature change in the lower Yangtze,a case study of the Gezhouba and Three Gorges reservoirs was conducted.Using the water temperature records at the Yichang and Cuntan hydrological stations,this analysis includes the variations of monthly water temperature at the two stations,their temperature differences and correlation,and the correlation of temperature changing rates in the periods of pre-and post-dam construction.The results reveal that the operation of Gezhouba reservoirs has little influence on water temperature downstream,while the impact of Three Gorges dam is much more significant.
