Abstract
The flow compensation dispatching of the Three Gorges Reservoir in dry season for the downstream navigation is one of the main design assignments of the Three Gorges Project According to the preliminary design, the Three Gorges Reservoir began to take on the role of flow compensation for the downstream navigation since the end of the flood period in 2006. During the actual operation of the reservoir, the navigation flow is to be compensated with the full utilization of the regulating storage of the reservoir based on the upstream inflow. The operation of the flow compensation for the downstream navigation in dry season since the initial impoundment of the reservoir for power generation is analyzed and summarized herein, and then some key points to be paid attention to and the relevant suggestions on the future operation of the reservoir during dry season are proposed as welL关键词
