低比转速离心泵空化性能的数值模拟
Numerical simulation of cavitation characteristics of low specific speed centrifugal punmp

Abstract
In order to analyze the vapor-liquid two-phase flows in low specific speed centrifugal pumps at the occurrence of cavitation, numerical simulation of the vapor-liquid two-phase flow fields in a centrifugal pump at a specific speed of 66 was carried out by use of computational fluid dynamics software. Hie distribution of water vapor within the impeller at different net positive suction heads was investigated. Cavitation inception occurred at the inlet of blade suction side was found when the inlet pressure is quite high. Under the critical and the allowable net positive suction heads, water vapor was found on the blade surface and in the flow channel, occupied part of the impeller flow channel. The energy transfer within impeller was affected and cavitation erosion may happen. The accuracy of numerical simulation was validated through the experimental studies on the prototype pump.关键词
