Abstract
Since water impoundment and operation at the end of 1998, and because of specific lithologic charactersof D2y rock stratum, the deep layer of Jiangya dam bedrock, have caused infrequent lifting-up of rock mass. Through an analysis about geological characteristics of dam location and lifting-up theory, and statistical analysis on monitoring data of more than ten years, the paper suggests that lifting-up of rock mass is caused by the secular distortion formed by D2y rock stratum under sustained action of higher water head. Although there still exists the lifting-up, there is a finite span for aggravation.关键词
