摘要

Abstract

The cooling water drainage systems of nuclear power plants always utilize a hydraulic jump to dissipate water flow energy, and resulting in salted fog and froth influencing the surrounding enviroment. In this paper, a new type of pressure energy dissipater was suggested. By model tests, the impacts of energy dissipater form and size on the overflowing capacity, the pressure distribution and damping ratio was analyzed and structural arrangement was optimized. Flow characteristics were studied for different operating conditions. The experimental results show that dissipation rate by using this pressure energy dissipater can reach about 65%.
