摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the outcome of patients who were treated for olecranon fractures with ulnar plate. Methods 65 patients( 37 male and 28 female, 2 open fracture and 63 close, 21 in left and 44 in right, simple fracture in 49 cases and comminuted in 16 cases )were identified as olecranon fracture, with average age 37.5 years ( range 20 to 55years \ who were treated with ulnar plate from Oct 2006 to Oct 2010 were retrospectively reviewed. Associated fractures were inter-condyler fracture of humeur in 2 cases and radial head dislocation in 4 cases. The mean interval time between injury and operation was 3.5 days( 2 hours to 7 days \ Result Patients were followed for an average of 21 months ( range 6 to 35 months ). The end results were 47 excellent, 13 good based on Broberg scale, the average union time was 4.5 months( range3 to 9 months ). Conclusion Ulnar plate fixation( or combined with bone graft allows early mobilization of the elbow, making a high union rate, a low incidence of hardware related complications and a satisfactory result providing the contour and dimension of the trochlear notch is restored., this technique may be a better option for the treatment of olecranon fracture.关键词
