摘要

Abstract

The effect of nitrogen sources on L-arginine production by recombinant E. Coli was studied. The effects of the varieties of organic nitrogen sources, peptone concentration, and (NH4)2SO4 concentration on L-arginine production were investigated. When the concentration of peptone and (NH4)2 SO4 were 10 g/L and 15 g/L, respectively, 9.4 g/L of L-arginine was obtained in shake flask culture. In batch fermentation with a 5-L fermentor, 18. 8 g/L of L-arginine was achieved by feeding (NH4)2SO4, thus it was 108. 9% higher than that of control.
