Progress in microbial production of 3-hydroxybutanone
摘要
Abstract
3-Hydroxybutanone, an important chemical intermediate and multifunctional material, was widely used in the industries of food additives, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and so on. Compared with the method of chemical or biocatalysis, the fermentation by industrial microorganisms had advantages of the low cost, high safety, high purity, and high yield. The progress in the breeding of industrial strains, metabolic pathway and its control mechanisms, and fermentation optimization strategies were summarized. Furthermore, the potential of Torulopsis glabrata as 3-hydroxybutanone production strain was suggested.关键词
