Abstract
Cotton textile industry of Susong region had a great development in Ming Dynasty.A series of policies to encourage planting economic crops promoted the expansion of cotton region in early Ming Dynasty and coastal cotton region has formed by the middle Ming Dynasty, which provided raw materials for the cotton textile industry.Cotton textile machinery improvements improved its efficiency and promoted the rapid development of the cotton textile industry, in which initial specialization appeared, cotton variety and colors increased, and regional characteristics of cotton processing and distribution system formed.Cotton textile industry promoted the rise of professional town of Susong region and the prosperity of cotton goods trade, making the tax levy become a custom of cloth folding, but with the heavy cloth, a heavy burden on local people.关键词
