摘要
Abstract
Systemic functional linguistics is based on anthropology and sociology while pragmatics on philosophy and logic.The disparity results in their differences in theoretical basis,central thoughts,nature of language,research contents and methodology.Though the study upon their differences is important,their distinction is not at all clear-cut and beyond measure.They both focus on linguistic communication and have interfaces in function,context and meaning,which renders the complementarity of the two branches possible.关键词
