The Calculation and Convergence Analysis of Regional Total Factor Energy Efficiency： An Empirical Study Based on Cross-Province Panel Data in China
摘要
Abstract
By using the Malmquist index, this paper calculates the total factor energy efficiency, the technology progress, and the technology efficiency from 2000 to 2009, and then tests the convergence of regional energy efficiency. The study shows that the total factor energy efficiency of China takes on upward tendency primarily due to technical progress ; the divergence of total factor energy efficiency did exist in the east, middle and west region of China and its cause is different. In the nationwide the total factor energy efficiency exists convergence tendency and the less advanced region pursues the effect to be obvious.关键词
