Synthesis and Characterization of ZrAPO-11 Molecular Sieves with Fiber Structure in Ethanol-Water System

Abstract
ZrAPO-11 molecular sieves with fiber structure were synthesized with diisopropylamine as template in an ethanol-water system. The products were characterized by means of XRD, SEM, N2 physical adsorption BET and pyridine adsorbed FTIR. The morphologies of the ZrAPO-11 molecular sieves were transformed from rod shape to fiber shape by increasing the ratio of ethanol to water. The crystallinity and morphology of the ZrAPO-11 molecular sieves were improved by introducing zirconium ions. The morphologies of the ZrAPO-11 molecular sieves were also transformed from clump shape and then plate shape to fiber shape by addition of HF. In the ethanol-water system, the addition of HF resulted in reduction of the crystallization rate of the ZrAPO-11 molecular sieves. The product with 397.4 mVg BET surface area and the fiber structure of 15 μm length, 50 nm width and 10 nm thickness were prepared. The prepared ZrAPO-11 molecular sieves had many Bronsted acid sites.关键词
