摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of TRPC1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods The expressions of TRPC1 in 213 NPC biopsy specimens and 24 nasopharyngitis cases were measured by immunohistochemistry envision method. Results The expression rate of TRPC1 in NPC cases was obviously higher (78.87%) than that in nasopharyngitis cases (40.74%) (P< 0.001). The expression of TRPC1 in NPC was not correlated with patients'gender and age, the pathological type, the status of EBV-IgG, skull-base invasion, and distant metastasis of NPC , but was related to T stage , N stage, and clinical stage of NPC (P < 0.05). Conclusion The expression of TRPC1 may play an important role in the progression of NPC , and its over-expression might promote the proliferation and migration of NPC.关键词
