Research Progress of IL-2 in Pathogenesis of Autoimmune Diseases
摘要
Abstract
IL-2, also known as T cell growth factor, can promote T cell-dependent immune response. However, recent studies have shown that the main function of IL-2 is to maintain activity of Treg cells, to further regulate the immune response. Therefore, IL-2 can be used as a potential therapeutic strategy of autoimmune diseases to improve autoimmune diseases that is caused by autoantibodies. This paper will briefly explain the recent research progress of IL-2 in treating autoimmune diseases based on the function of IL-2 on Treg cells in the early stage of immune response.关键词
