Abstract

Introducing Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway into Ji'nan railway south station is the project connecting two newly built electrified railway tie lines from Ji'nan west station of Beijing - Shanghai high-speed railway to Ji'nan railway south station of the existing Beijing-Shanghai railway. Ji'nan railway station is a super class passenger station with a history of more than one hundred years. Electrification of it was carried out only a few years ago, yet in the station there are many tracks and complex power supply and catenary structures. In this case, the construction process-increasing tracks, relaying and rewiring railway lines, then transforming catenary was very complicated. Considering the problems such as many companies to be coordinated, complex construction environment, short time of power cut-off and large traffic interference, the authority adopted many management measures and technical means to ensure that any traffic accident and personal injury accidents will never happen, which enhanced the smooth completion of the project.
