Abstract

Taking the Caragana korshinskii which is the main planted tree species in Jinchuan Tailings Bank as the plant material and local main heavy metal element Ni,Cu as the research object,the study on the heavy metals' contamination of Caragana korshinskii and soil in Jinchuan Tailings Bank indicated that the soil there was not only extremely barren,but had a high content of heavy metals as well,The contents of Ni and Cu in the soil were beyond grade three of national standards for environment quality,and the soil had become a type of complex heavy-metal contaminated one.Different method of planting Caragana korshinskii could result in great difference of the plant's absorption coefficient,especially in different part of it.The concentrations of nickel in shoot was higher than that in root,and concentrations of copper in root was higher than that in shoot.The transferability of Ni was stronger than that of Cu.The retention rate of Cu was 80% in root of Caragana korshinskii,but it was weaker for Ni.Comprehensive analysis showed that,Caragana korshinskii could concentrate Ni and Cu.Since it had characteristics of a greater biomass,it would have a better potential and practical use in phytoremediation.
