Abstract
Simplex polyester fiber and hybrid fiber with polyester fiber and acrylic fiber have been mixed into AC -16 and AC -25 bituminous mixture respectively, so it forms different experiment sections of highway applied to the deck construction of Xiaoliu bridge in Henan province. Through a series of such tests on fiber reinforced asphalt concrete as high temperature stability, anti-cracking performance under low temperature, water stability, this paper synthetically analyzes the pathway performance of fiber reinforced asphalt concrete and reinforcement effect of fiber, the result of trials indicates that short and thin fiber in the bitumen can increase bonding performance, thermal stability, rheological resistance properties, anti-water damage and service performance under low temperature, the effect of fiber reinforced concrete is evidence, furthermore, the hybrid fiber can make a better reinforcement effect in asphalt mixture. The test result is well applied to the deck surfacing of bridge, which indicates that fiber reinforced asphalt concrete as pavement course can increase the performance of anti-rutting, anti-water damage, anti-fatigue and prevention of early age failure.关键词
