摘要

Abstract

In this paper,an improved wideband microstrip antenna is analyzed and designed,it works in the frequency range between 470 MHz and 860 MHz.It utilizes high permittivity dielectric substrate,with symmetrical semiellipse metal patches placed at its upper and lower surfaces.The bandwidth is broadened due to gradient characteristic of the elliptic curve.On the premise of enough bandwidth and frequency,the proposed design reduces the size of antenna a lot,which can be used for vehicle mounted and hand-held TV receivers.
