Abstract
The satellite communication antenna with low contour has good application prospective and important research value. The front-fed offset Cassegrain antenna has high efficiency and can be used in both Ku band and Ka band. The paper presents the three steps in the design of front-fed offset Cassegrain antenna with low contour: firstly, configuring the parameters reasonably in order to make the height of the antenna be the demanded value; secondly, designing the aperture into elliptical shape to make the antenna have the demanded equivalent aperture area; finally, choosing the revolving axis of the main reflector in order to make the electric performance and height of the antenna change little.关键词
