摘要

Abstract

This paper presents an urban public transit system and electronic bus stop sign; by using GPS, GPRS, GIS, Zigbee and sensor technology to improve and perfect the service of the public transit. Based on this system, not only citizens can get convenience, but also the public transit can grasp the situation of the bus running real-time and accurately. The system can provide the datebase of bus running situation to the managers of the public transit for planning and managing the running of the public transit better.
