This paper proposes a project of radio system on the chip based on SI1000 for transmission line on-line monitoring. The hardware and software design of transmission line on-line monitoring unit is introduced in the detait. This monitoring unit can be applied in many fields, especially in the field of no person watch, no alternating current supply, short distance communication and long-time monitoring.
