摘要

Abstract

A wireless weather warning information receiving system based on ARM920T microprocessor and GPRS network is designed. The system uses GPRS as a bridge for receiving information via SMS, and utilizes the embedded Linux operating system and graphics development library QT/E to achieve the display and the voice broadcast of weather warning information. The system effectively shortens the delay time of receiving information, improves the effectiveness of early warning information reception, and avoids the traditional way that receiving weather warnings can not respond to sudden weather disasters timely.
