Abstract
Objective:To compare and analyze 207 intracranial wide -necked aneurysms by Neuroform stent or balloon assisted coil embolization so as to provide references in the clinic. Methods: Of the 207 patients with wide -necked aneurysms, 129 were treated by Neuroform stent - assisted coil embolization,78 were treated by balloon - assisted coil emboliztion. The prognosis of the patients was evaluated with the modified Rankin scale 3 months to 5 years after the procedure, and the patients were reexamined by cerebral angiography 6 to 12 months after the procedure. Results: The good prognosis in the Neuroform stent - assisted group and balloon - assisted group were 77.2% (98/129) and 78.2% (61/78) , respectively. There was no statistical difference between the two groups ( P > 0.05). Conclusion: Neuroform stent or balloon - assisted coil embolization are the effective methods in the treatment of intracranial wide - necked aneurysms, one of them should be chosen according to their advantages and disadvantages respectively.关键词
