Abstract
Objective;To investigate the relationship between blood pressure variation and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases of the aged people. Methods; A total of 128 non -hypertensive aged patients were divided into two groups, 68 pateints in the first group had cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and 60 patients in the second group had no such diseases. The day and night systolic blood pressure variation (BPvs) and diastolic blood pressure variability ( BPvd) were examined by 24 - hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring ( ABPM). Results; The 24hSsD, 24hDsD, dssD, dDsD, nSsD, and nDsD in the first group were significantly different with those of the second group (P<0. 05,P<0.01). The 24 - hour blood pressure variability in the first group was greater than the daytime, daytime blood pressure variability was greater than the night. The systolic blood pressure variation was greater than the diastolic. Conclusion; Blood pressure variability can be used as an independent risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases of the aged without hypertension.关键词
