Abstract
Through measurements for the carbon tetrachloride ( CTC ) content in the soil, this paper studied the characteristics of CTC pollution in the soil near a water source well and in an electric equipment installing company, cleared the sources and channels of groundwater pollution, and analyzed the controlling factors of CTC pollution plume distribution in the soil. Continuous distributions of CTC were detected in the drill hole soil samples near the water source well and the company with a top concentration of 46. 0 ng/g. Inside the company the CTC existed mainly in the aeration zone, while in outside of the company it mainly distribated in the aquifer. The CTC detergents dumped on the ground surface before by the com-mpany seeped into the aquifer through vertical infiltration, then under the control of the groundwater dynamic flow field, moved horizontally along the main direction of groundwater flow to the water source well east of the company. There was not saturated CTC pollution plume ( DNAPL Poll) existence in current sites. The distribution of CTC pollution plume was primarily controlled by the distance with the contamination source, lithological characters, hydrodynamic conditions, the natural degradation of CTC and the pumping water of the water source well, etc.关键词
