Research of Image Compression Based on Discrete Cosine Transform
摘要
Abstract
Image compression is the application of data compression technology in digital image, whose purpose is to reduce the redundant information in image data, so as to store and transmit the data more efficient. Image compression can either be lossy data compression or non-destructive data compression. The lossy compression technology, in which the transform coding methods are the most commonly used methods. Fourier related transform methods such as discrete cosine transform (DCT) and Wavelet transform, which was quantified and compressed by the method of entropy coding.关键词
