Abstract
Firstly this paper reviews the development history of virtual instrument technology,then briefly introduces the basic structure and characteristics of each generation of instrument technology.The concept,the basic principle,the main structure,the performance characteristics and the classification method of virtual instrument are comprehensively introduced.The performance characteristis of virtual instrument is compared to traditional instrument,and the future development of virtual instrument technology is forecasted.The present situation of application research of domestic virtual instrument is elaborated in four different categories.In the end,the future application research of domenstic virtual instrument technology is forecasted关键词
