摘要

Abstract

A X band single-balanced mixer is presented using a half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) 3 dB coupler, which is fabricated by standard printed circuit board process. Hie HMSIW is designed and measured firstly, the measurement results are presented. Then the HMSIW is used to design the single-balanced mixer, the circuit topology is also presented. The mixer with the high performance takes the advantages of lower cost and smaller size than substrate integrated waveguide coupler mixer. Measured conversion loss of 8.6 dB and the wide-band response from 9 GHz to 12 GHz are presented.
