Cu修饰碳纳米管基复合材料的高效合成及其催化应用研究
Highly Effective Synthesis of Carbon Nanotube-copper Nanohybrids and Its Application in Catalysis

Abstract
The novel synthesis of Cu nanoparticles (NPs) decorated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) via the spontaneous reduction of Cu tons with chitosan(CHIT) functionalized MWCNTs in the presence of amonia has been developed. Characterization of the nanocomposites revealed that the ultrasmall Cu particles (approx. 2-3 nm) were well loaded on the surface of MWCNTs. The addition of amonia to the suspension (or dispersed solution) to adjust the pH is responsible for the reduction of Cu ions. The Cu-CHIT-MWCNTs nanocomposites can effectively catalyze reduction of 4-nitrophenol by sodium borohydride in aqueous solution.关键词
