摘要
Abstract
In order to prevent leiometopon simyrides staudinger from harming sand consolidaton plant nitraria,and keep ecological balance of desert steppe in Hexi corridor,life habit and natural enemy of leiometopon simyrides staudinger were observed.The observation showed that 3 generations were happened each year,pupae were in the earth through the winter,nitraria as major food,the major harm period is the larval stage.In the dry desert steppe,average monthly rainfall exceeded 38 mm from June to August,nitraria grew flourishing,it is good for leiometopon simyrides Staudinger larva to grow up,the amount of pest insects were breathtaking.On the contrary,density of insect quantity reduced sharply.Hence,it is not difficult to conclude that the best control time is from late May to early June.Therefore,it is necessary to fully utilize and protect natural enemy to maintain ecological balance of desert steppe.关键词
