Abstract
The study was designed to evaluate the anticoccidial activity of different formulations and prescriptions of sulfachloropyrazine sodium (Esb3) compound against chicken coccidiosis. The two trials were carried out. In the first trial, 180 chickens were divided into six groups: Esb3 with trimethoprin (TMP) solution (0. 02% , 5 d) , Esb, with TMP suspension (0. 02% , 5 d) , Esb3 with diaveridine (DVD) suspension (0. 02% , 5 d) group, Esb3 soluble powder (0. 03% , 5 d), infected and non-medicated group and uninfected and non-medicated group. In the second trial, 180 chickens were similarly divided into six groups; Esb3 with TMP suspension (0. 02% , 5 d), Esb3 with DVD suspension (0. 02% , 5 d), Esb3 with DVD suspension (0.02% ,3d), Esb3 soluble powder (0. 03% ,3d), infected and non-medicated group and uninfected and non-medicated group. Anticoccidial activity was evaluated by the scores of blood faeces, the survival rate, weight gain and relative weight gain rate, lesions scores, oocysts scores and value of oocysts and anti-coccidia index (ACI). The results showed that ACIs in Esb3 with TMP suspension (0. 02% , 5 d) or with DVD suspension (0. 02% , 5 d) groups were kept in high level, and those in Esb3 with TMP solution (0. 02% , 5 d) or with DVD suspension (0. 02% ,3 d) groups were kept in middle level. It suggested that Esb3 with TMP or DVD suspension (0. 02% , 5 d) had a better efficacy against chicken coccidiosis.关键词
