Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of antimicrobials in patients receiving bone operation in our hospital, and to analyze and evaluate the rationality of medication. Methods The bone fracture operation cases with the records of clinical rounds and common bacteria separated from the Department of Orthopaedics were collected. Analysis was made in selection of antibacterials, time of medication, drug combination and selection of preventing application. Results There were 25 kinds of antimicrobials used in all the patients receiving bone fracture operations, which mainly were cephalosporins, nitroimidazole medicament, penicillin, Beta lactamase compound preparations and quinolones, etc. Among them, the use of one medicine accounted for 71% , combination of two kinds of medicine accounted for 27% ,and 2% was combination of three. Average day of medication was 8. 8 d. The usage rate of preventive application of antibacterials was 100% , which mainly were the second generation cephalosporins. Conclusion The selection of antimicrobials in the department of orthopaedics is rational. But the course of treatment is too long. Management of antimicrobial rational administration should be strengthened. Cost - effective antibacterials should be selected according to individual situations of patients. Prevention of occurrence of drug - resistance bacteria and their spreading should be considered.关键词
