Retailer's Optimal Pricing and Ordering Policy under Permissible Delay in Payments
摘要
Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to develop an inventory model under permissible delay in payments, in which the supplier provides not only a permissible delay but also a cash discount to the retailer, where the demand rate is considered to be a function of the retail price. This model further expands the classical economic production quantity(EPQ) model. We do this in order to reflect the real-life business situations. Mathematical models have derived for obtaining the optimal pricing, optimal cycle time and optimal payment time for items. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the results developed in this paper.关键词
