Abstract
Carbon fiber reinforced ultra high temperature ceramic composites were prepared by precursor infiltration pyrolysis. The characteristics of carbon fiber, matrix and fiber-matrix interface of the composites were obtained by microstructures analysis. The correlations of processing-microstructure-mechanical properties were illustrated by the analysis of the precursor properties, the preparation, mechanical properties and microstructure. Results show that less dipping cycles and pyrolysis time can reduce the damage of the carbon fibers and then improve the mechnical properties of the ultra-high temperature ceramic composites.关键词
