On the Scope, Value and Position of Social Management
摘要
Abstract
Although the task of social management has been promoted from ＂strengthening and improve- ment＂ to ＂strengthening and innovation＂, the fundamental work of study on social management is to explore the domain objects, core values and strategic position of social management earnestly. Figuring out this problem is the basic premise of developing theory and practice of social management. The domain of modem social management consists of people＇s well-being society, civil society and society of public affairs, which is a particular area in development. At present, the main objects of social management are the problems, behavior and inter- ests existing in people＇s well-being society, civil society and society of public affairs. Although modem social management is closely related to maintenance of social stability and order, the core value of social management should be realizing social fairness and justice through coordination of social interests, standardization of social behavior, and solving social problems. In China＇s special national conditions, social construction and social management have become the new focus work. being first nfioritv and of equal importance with economic development.关键词
