Effect of Loading Rate on Stress Corrosion Cracking Behavior of 34CrMo4 Steel CT Specimens

Abstract
In wet H2S environment, the tensile curve and fracture mophology of stress corrosion of compact tension (CT) specimens of 34CrMo4 high - strength steel at different constant displacement rates were investigated. The specimens showed brittle fracture and clearly stress corrosion phenomenon when displacement rate was in the extent of 10-5 ~ 10-4 mm/s. The specimens showed ductile fracture and the stress corrosion sensitivity decreased significantly when displacement rate was too fast or too slow.关键词
