摘要
Abstract
The pyrolyzing tube is one of the most important components of an ethylene pyrolyzing furnace, the key equipment of ethylene production in the petrochemical industry, and endures different kinds of damage caused by complicated high temperature environment. In recent years, several failure accidents of HP type cracking furnace tubes happened in a large petrochemical plant, which interrupted the long -term safe operation of the ethylene production. The characteristics and reasons of these failures are analyzed by the methods of metallographic analysis, scanning electron microscope ( SEM ) and energy dispersive spectrometer ( EDS). The results of analysis indicate that these failures were caused by carburiza-tion, creep and sulphuric corrosion brought by high temperature.关键词
