Abstract
Objective To develop a portable X-ray shielding curtain so as to protect adjacent patients from radiation during bedside X-ray photography. Methods The structure and size of shielding curtain were determined via experimental tests. A removable bracket was fixed to the sickbed, and then a pole on the bracket was used to hang the curtain up. Results When bedside X-ray examination performed, with the shielding curtain, the radiation dose of the adjacent sickbed was lowered by several hundreds times. Conclusion The X -ray shielding curtain, being easy to use and carry, is worth popularizing. [Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2011,32(12):45-46]关键词
