Abstract
Objective To discuss the application value of the gem energy spectrum CT for the screening of the early lung cancer. Methods 126 cases of perennial smoker or with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were analyzed retrospectively, who were diagnosed by GE lightspeedQX/I multilayer spiral CT and gem energy spectrum CT. The 126 cases were divided into experiment group and control group, with the detection rates summed up and correlation analysis and statistical processing performed. Results By GE lightspeedQX/I multilayer spiral CT, in the control group 18 cases were diagnosed with early lung cancer, 56 ones with nodular focus, 5 ones with stenosis and thickening of bronchial wall, 3 cases with pulmonary mottling, and 28 ones with nodular calcification, of which, 3 ones were detected with malignant nodule and the detection rate was 2.3%. By gem energy spectrum CT, in the experiment group 31 cases were diagnosed with early lung cancer, 82 ones with nodular focus, 11 ones with stenosis and thickening of bronchial wall, 5 cases with pulmonary mottling, and 31 ones with nodular calcification, of which, 5 ones were detected with malignant nodule and the detection rate was 3.9%. The detection rate of the experiment group was higher than that of the control group. The mean radiation dose of the control group was 0.76mSv and that of the experiment group was 0.73mSv, with no statistical difference. Condimion Gem energy spectrum CT, when used for the screening of early lung cancer, is gifted with the radiation protection as that of the low-dose CT, with the image quality and positive detection rate enhanced.
