Abstract
The characteristics and classification of 2D barcode are introduced. The requirements of compilation of 2D barcode for medical equipment are described in detail. QR (Quick Response) code gains an advantage over other 2D barcodes, which can be read with a high speed 'and identified in 360° . Besides, the unique expression information mechanism of QR code makes it to compile Chinese characters in a more efficient way. Based on these advantages* QR Code has become the first choice to compile medical equipment information, It is propitious to realize information collection and transfer by making QR code label to mark all kinds of medical equipment.
