Abstract
Objective To calibrate the automatic blood analyzer of Beckman-Coulter LH750. Methods With the environment requirements satisfied, the routine maintenance and special maintenance, including incandesce of counting hole, flow line cleaning and so on, were performed. The analyzer was powered off and then on after a two-hour soaking. After the tests for repeatability and residual contamination rate, the calibrator S-CAL(Lot:4754) provided by Beckman Coulter Company was used for calibration, then calibration coefficients for automatic and manual injection were obtained. Results The device proved to be gifted with high repeatability, low residual contamination rate, whose variation coefficient was below the lower limit of the defined value. The new calibration coefficient was helpful to enhance the accuracy of the device. Conclusion The automatic blood analyzer has to be calibrated periodically to improve the test quality.
