摘要

Abstract

The well-point dewatering method is often used during deep foundation pit excavation in soil layer with high artesian water pressure. However, because of many influence factors it is much difficult to make dewatering design and implementation in such a soil layer. To solve this problem, the seepage function pattern of the software FLAC3D and the orthogonality method are herein applied for analyzing how the different factors, like depth of water-proof wall, depth of pump well, pump output, position of wells, artesian water head and permeability of soil layer, affect the well-point dewatering. Based on the result obtained from the orthogonality tests the optimum design concept is suggested in this paper for dewatering during deep foundation pit excavation.
