Trace Arsenic in Refined Antimony Measurement by Atomic Fluorescence

摘要

Abstract

How to measures the trace arsenic in refined antimony by atomic fluorescence is referred in this paper. Sulfuric acid is adopted to dissolve the test sample, and sodium hydroxide is selected for neutralization until the phenolphthalein becomes red and make the matrix antimony settled and separated with arsenic. Get some separated solution and use thiourea and ascorbic acid to reduce arsenate to bivalent arsenic, and then take the atomic fluorescence spectrometry measurement. This is a good effectual, sensitive, practical and fast method to separate antimony. The relative coefficient is 0. 998. The measure range is 0.00005 ~0. 50%. Since 2 years production, the result is stable and correct.
