Study on degradation of dyestuff wastewater with lanthanum ion doping TiO2

Abstract
The titanium dioxide (TiO2) catalyst doped with rare earth metal La3+ was prepared by ultrasonic resonance method and characterized by means of XRD. The photocatalysis degradation of mordant blue wastew-ater and the main factors affecting degradation percentage were investigated. The results showed that the degradation result of mordant blue wastewater with TiO2 doped with La3+ was better than pure TiO2. When the concentration of mordant blue was 20 mg/L, pH=5, the dosage of TiO2 doped with 0.8%(mole fraction) of La3+ was 1.0 g/L, the degradation rate could reach above 93%. The activity of the catalyst was the best at 550 X of calcining temperature, which existed as anatase phase.关键词
