Numerical Simulation on the Removal of NO in NO-O2-H2O-He Mixtures by Microwave Discharge

Abstract
The removal and transformation of NO were analyzed and calculated through using the Kinetic model of removing NO in NO-O2-H2O-He mixtures by microwave discharge. Through establishing and the numerical solution of chemical reaction dynamics equation set, the Kinetics of reaction removing NO in NO-O2-H2O-He mixtures by microwave discharge was studied by building and solving the chemical reaction kinetics equations, various influencing factors for removing NO and the transformation laws of which NO converted into N2 and NO2 was analyzed. The results show that in NO-O2-H2O-He mixtures, the removal efficiency of NO is influenced by microwave power, NO initial concentration, O2 and H2O initial concentration, and so on, in which an increase of microwave power is advantageous to the removal of NO and the conversion of NO to N2; The efficiency of denitrifieation decreases with volume fraction of NO increases, and it increases with simulated flue gas humidity increase; The NO2 generation increases by the addition of O2 under the condition of microwave discharge; Removal of NO in NO-O2-H2O-He mixtures by microwave discharge is a result of both the reduction reaction and oxidizing reaction of NO, and the conversion rate of NO to N2 is more greater than that of NO to NO2.关键词
