Modeling and Parameters of Linear Induction Motors With Iron Saturation
摘要
Abstract
In order to improve the power density and thrust density of the linear induction motors (LIMs) in the situation that dimension of them is restricted. LIMs are designed to run in the large current (above 10kA), which lead the iron saturated. In this paper, modeling of the LIMs was analyzed and law of the iron saturation was obtained from test data. It indicated that the iron was easily become saturated when current increased and slip frequency decreased. Based on the test curve of thrust vs. frequency and voltage vs. frequency, parameters regression was present to acquire more accurate parameters. Results of theory analysis and parameters regression, which were validated by test data from the long primary LIMs system capable of producing 400kN of force, operating at the 100MW peak power level, could be the reference for accurate description of the motor model and parameter measurement.关键词
