Application of The Non-overlapping Mortar Finite Element Method in Moving Conductor Eddy Current Problems
摘要
Abstract
This paper applied non-overlapping mortar finite element method(NO-MFEM) in moving conductor eddy current(MCEC) problem.When deal with MCEC by NOMFEM,the whole region is divided into two sub-regions,one contains the moving part and the other contains the source current.The two sub-regions were discretized independently and the two sets of meshes have non-conforming grids on the interface.When the moving part changes location,it only needs to change the node coordinates in moving region,hence the trouble of re-meshing in classical finite element method(FEM) was overcome.In this paper,the fundamental of NO-MFEM was introduced;the types of movement model which can be simulated by NO-MFEM were displayed;the non-coordinated error of NO-MFEM was analyzed by 2D electrostatic model.The dynamic characteristics of a induction coil gun model were calculated by NO-MFEM.Numerical results obtained were compared with experimental data and results of other numerical methods,reasonable agreement was achieved and the efficiency of NO-MFEM for MCEC was displayed.关键词
