摘要

Abstract

Geology thinking is the prerequisite thinking ability for geologists. The spatiotemporal view is the important aspect of geology thinking that is the comprehension and cognization of geological process in essence. The teaching of structural geology plays significant role in establishing the spatiotemporal view of geology thinking. Through making three dimensional figures and balanced cross sections corresponding to the geological map in the process of teaching, and the geometrical, kinematical and dynamical analysis of typical structural feature case for estimating the spatiotemporal variations of the earth system, the spatial thinking and spatiotemporal corresponding ability for geology beginner can be rapidly cultivated, which is benefit for establishing spatiotemporal view of geology thinking.
