Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical features and treatment methods of cytomegaloviral ( CMV ) pneumonia post renal transplantation. Methods The clinical symptoms, X-ray characters and treatment methods of 28 patients with CMV pneumonia post renal transplantation were retrospectively analyzed. Results The primary symptom of all patients was fever ( continued fever ) with the body temperature exceeding 38. 5 °C (67.9% of the patients exceeding 39. 0 °C ). The symptoms of cough, polypnea, dyspnea, etc were occurred in the following 3 to 7 days. The cough was mainly dry cough and a few patients were accompanied with chest pain. With the progression of the disease, aggravated hypoxemia was emerged gradually. The blood oxygen saturation of 60. 7% patients was lower than 85% ; of 14. 3% patients was lower than 70%. The X-ray showed gradually aggravated tendency. The majority showed frosted glass image ( 78. 6% ) accompanied with fragmentis image ( 53. 6% ) or nodus image ( 32. 1% ),and 8 patients ( 28. 6% ) suffered from pleural effusion. In the 28 patients,20 patients ( 71.4% ) were healed,3 patients were improved and 5 patients ( 17. 9% ) were invalid or died. Conclusion The primary symptom of CMV pneumonia post renal transplantation is fever followed by dry cough,polypnea, dyspnea, etc. The X-ray shows gradually aggravated tendency and the majority shows frosted glass, fragmentisor nodus image. The prompt and combined treatment is necessary.关键词
